"Hi, I'm Eric Spillman: Jackass Reporter."
Eric, Eric, Eric. For crying out loud– What were you thinking?
When you live in Los Angeles, you never run out of fun things to do. That’s especially true if you live downtown. One of the things I’d been looking forward to was Shakespeare L.A.’s outdoor productions. In past years, they’ve been staged in Pershing Square, but more recently they’ve migrated over to Our Lady of Angels Cathedral just a few blocks up the street. So on Friday night, we and our friends Homero and Jose (the two grin-happy fools pictured on your left) ambled over to First Street to catch a performance of The Taming of The Shrew.
Riley and I walked over to California Plaza last night to try out the Grand Performance’s Movies That Matter. Since Angels Flight is still out of commission (Seriously, when is that coming back? Never mind my personal convenience– that railway was crucial to the local economy, especially Grand Central Market), we walked over to Grand Avenue and took the escalator up.
